The Closing of the Reader’s Circle

When a reading ends, always close the circle:
Touch the Flame card and whisper gratitude,
Dip your fingers in water for the Tide,
Press your palm to earth for the Vein,
Breathe once deeply for the Whisper,
And finally, snuff the candle for the Shadow -
for the dead and the forgotten who listen still.
