Lore:
There was once a seer who sought to see beyond all worlds.
In his final ritual, he hung himself between life and death upon the branches of the World Tree, and there he became the Hanged Wraith.
In his stillness, he saw truth inverted - that to rise, one must first descend; to see, one must first close the eyes.

His card is the moment of surrender - the yielding that precedes transformation.
When reversed, it warns of self-made prisons; suffering clung to when release is possible.
