The Choir Concordance

Celestial Codex of Harmonies
Composed in the veiled ages of the Serpent Circle by the surviving Choir, whose voices were once thunder and are now mist.
The Parchment hums faintly when held near flame; its ink is made of sound caught in silence.

I. The Breath of Concord

When the Oracle of the Twenty-Six Houses sang the Alphabet of Inheritance,
its resonance rose beyond the mortal air and entered the Choir's domain.
The Silent Choir, once keepers of the heavens' rhythm,
heard in those tones the echo of their own creation.

Each harmony they answered became a twin -
a reflection in song to every House upon the earth.
Thus the Choir Concordance was born: twenty-six divine notes,
each mirroring one mortal silence,
each binding the realm of sound to the realm of stillness.

II. The Concordant Pairs

Each House below is answered by one Choir Harmony above.
When the mortal tone and divine harmony align,
the Bridge of the Moonlit Child brightens in both worlds.

A – Aismera: Harmony of Dawn

Tone of renewal. Heard only at the first breath of morning.
When sung, the skies turn silver for one heartbeat.

C – Caldris: Harmony of Emberlight

A hum that warms the coldest soul.
The Choirs sings it whenever grief learns to forgive.

X – Xyphra: Harmony of Ruin

Low, rough chord that crumbles arrogance.
Heard in the fall of empires and the sprouting of moss upon ruins.

Y – Ygrene: Harmony of Halo Light

Twin tones circling each other endlessly,
symbolizing the gold and silver moons in eternal embrace.

Z – Zerathul: Harmony of Inheritance

All harmonies combined into one vast breath.
It is the sound of the Bridge itself,
the echo of Bramwell Zuwa's memory completing the Circle.

III. The Weaving of Heaven and Earth

Every century the Choir and the Choir and the Houses align their tones.
For one night, sound and silence merge into a single hum across the realms.
During that hour no lie can stand,
and all spirits - mortal, divine, drowned, or dreaming -
remember they are part of one continuous breath.

The High Witch's shadow is said to walk then,
tracing a finger across the moon to keep it steady.

IV. The Concord’s Closing Verse

Etched into the final tablet of the Choir's archive:

"We sang until we learned to listen.
They listened until they began to sing.
Thus heaven and earth became the same chord -
one voice of silence, ever returning."
